In rural societies of Indian, there is no need of any kind of menial work. Even still today. So why there be any untouchable caste ? Neither ‘caste’ word is Indian nor ‘Zaat/Jaat’ . Zaat is Arabic word having sense of status. None of ancient Indian person have surname to identify caste. It’s Europian tradition. They have surname like Smith, Goldsmith, Gardner, shoemaker etc etc, indicating their ancestor’s work. Every religion in South Asia have caste system, which was imposed on them by outsiders invaders.

I’m 53, been perimenopausal for almost 3 years (yep, didn’t start in my 40s). It’s hell because I have all the negatives from peri but also still get all the negatives from my periods.
